Happy Baptism Baby Boy!

October 12, 2015

Did you know my sweet nephew is almost seven months old now?! He had a big day at the beginning of this month. He was baptized!! It was a big day for me too – I’m his godmother. :D

It was a great weekend home with my family and I loved getting to spend so much time with this little guy. I feel super blessed to be chosen and trusted as his godmother by his parents. My prayers are many, but for now, my regular influence is limited to the board books and little lamb I gifted him since I live sort of far away. I found some great books on Amazon – a huge relief after being seriously disappointed in the baby/toddler options at Barnes & Noble.

I’m so glad my sister sends me videos and pictures all the time because I feel like I’m missing so much. He unstoppable now – crawling and starting to pull himself up! WHAT?! Baby boy, you’re just a BABY! Stop growing so quickly! :)

Now that he’s figured out crawling though, he does not have any interest in sitting still for pictures for auntie. :) My camera was way too interesting and he knew he could get it. I love this age for photos though. Plus that Baptism outfit?! I can’t even. And the bonnet. Oh goodness. Literally cannot. But, I will apologize to his future self though ’cause that was ALL auntie’s doing. I am a sucker for the bonnet, even if he does look like a little pilgrim. :) Just! So! Dang! CUTE! Come on, it’s true. Admit it.

God bless you every second of every day. Love you so much <3

A to Z

September 3, 2015

I had the pleasure of photographing these sweet boys this past weekend. I’ve met big brother (A) a few times and we took pictures last spring, but I was excited to finally see him as a brother and get his sweet little brother in front of my camera for the first time. Z is just over 7 weeks and I was so impressed with how well he did!

It’s definitely a bit more challenging to get two wee ones (A is recently 2) and especially when the baby is past that total milk drunk newborn stage. They just don’t love being “posed” as much and they’re certainly more alert. :)

Thank you for a wonderful afternoon! A to Z and certainly complete. <3

Throwback Thursday

November 20, 2014

Oh, poor neglected blog. I wrapped up school portraits today and couldn’t resist a little Throwback Thursday action. It really is such an honor and privilege to be invited back and spend time at such an awesome school with such fantastic little people and staff. It’s so awesome and crazy to see how much the kids grow each year. It was especially fun to see some of the kids for the third year in a row this year!

So then, on to the pictures… the best part, right?

TBT

I flew to Sacramento Friday night to meet and photograph the beautiful Lily Bug on Saturday morning. She was such a good, sweet little baby. I have so many words to come, but for now, just a sneak peek. Welcome to the world baby girl, you are so very loved!

Tis the Season!

November 15, 2011

The holiday season is here and photo sessions are increasing in leaps and bounds. Here’s a sneak peek from Sunday’s session – expect the full post later this evening or tomorrow.

And let’s discuss the cuteness of the boots, can we please?

Put your hands up
Come on lets rock
Gonna go all night
Gonna watch the dust fly
Show em what we got
Come on lets take a ride on top of the world
All you soul shaking heartbreakin little cowgirls”
