Awfully Big Adventure
November 25, 2011
Last Sunday, I met this beautiful family at the entrance to Balboa Park Trails and we nearly had to call it a day before we even got started. The drizzle began, the clouds in the sky threatened, and the forecast said RAIN. Yikes!
But it wasn’t raining just yet and I am so thankful that the H family was willing to adventure down the trail with their two small boys. I had so much fun wandering the trail with you all. Watching the boys swing, pick flowers, find rocks, and race across bridges. They are a joy… and the two of your are wonderful parents. And S? I still maintain you are a total rock star adventuring through the trail, over rocky creek beds, and up marshy hills in those heels. Seriously… especially when all of your boys were equipped with sensible shoes. :) But, with two curious and energetic boys, I’m sure you have many, many more adventures to come.

A Little Princess
January 26, 2011
It was really such a joy to get to meet and photograph this little princess and her family. I’ve known her dad and grandparents since I was a little girl and to be able to capture such a beautiful moment in their lives was truly an honor. This gorgeous little princess and her awesomely handsome big brother are some lucky kids.
I love you all! Congratulations again on your sweet girl!
Welcoming Kylee
January 24, 2011
This weekend, I flew to the Sacramento area to meet and photograph our family friend’s newest addition. I was so excited to see the family – it had been so long! Kylee was seven days new and so beautiful. She hated losing her clothes, but was a little angel all swaddled up. I can’t wait to finish going through the pictures. Here’s a sneak peek – big brother was such a trooper and so proud of his baby sister.
“Isn’t she the cutest?” Yes she is!
Just Turned Two
February 8, 2010
This little miss just turned two last week and we celebrated the occasion with a photo shoot. Isn’t she the cutest? When her mom saw the bottom left photo, she told me that “no one has taken a picture of my daughter smiling… ever!” That made my day; every parent should have a picture that truly represents the essence of their child. Those are the moments I strive for every time I take out my camera.
