If you’ve read my About Me, you know that my love of photography did not start with people. It was completely and totally about capturing the world around me. I was amazed and fascinated that I could make the world stand still. The amount of money my parents’ spent developing rolls of film with pictures of my dolls, our toothbrush holders, landscapes (and I was no Ansel Adams)… okay, I had to help pay too, but still.

But what you see here, when I get around to blogging (oops), is mostly people. In fact, it’s mostly babies and toddlers. I love working with people, with families, I love freezing time with a laugh, a scowl, a funny face, or pure wonder (what the heck is that crazy lady holding?!). Only, I never stopped taking pictures of the every day. I never stopped with the dolls, the toothbrush holders, the landscapes (that’s a lie, I haven’t taken a picture of toothbrush holders since those cute bears that hung on the wall in our bathroom in 1994). The point is, I don’t share a lot of what I capture.

And now I’m trying to change that.

I quietly ventured into selling my work years ago when I was fundraising for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and just as quietly let it slip away. Recently, I’ve gotten the urge to branch out again, stretch my creative limits, and offer some of my non-people work for sale.

I’m starting with Etsy, but I have some other ideas in mind.

Please have a look around, stay for awhile, share my shop, buy some Christmas cards, and let me know what you are looking for in prints and products. I would love to hear your ideas and how I can add some beauty and perspective to your space and life.
